Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Bilingual English/Spanish-Speaking Coordinator to join our home care agency in Brooklyn. The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting daily operations, communicating with caregivers and clients ensuring smooth coordination of services.
Duties
- Communicate with caregivers and clients
- Coordinate schedules, assignments and coverage for home care aides
- Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow up on open cases and ensure timely resolution
Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- 2 years of progressive home care experience including scheduling/staffing/ care coordination required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws (such as HIPAA), and community resources related to home care services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HHA Exchange requered
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing client needs or scheduling challenges.
