We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night nanny / Newborn Care Specialist to provide expert care and support for newborns during their earliest stages of life. Responsibilities
- Provide specialized newborn care, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing techniques tailored to each infant’s needs
- Monitor infant health and safety, recognizing signs of discomfort or illness and responding appropriately
- Support parents with guidance on infant development, sleep routines, and caregiving best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist with light household tasks related to infant care such as sterilizing bottles and organizing baby supplies
- Document daily activities, feeding schedules, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones accurately
- Collaborate with families to implement personalized care plans that promote growth and emotional well-being
Experience
- Proven experience in newborn care or early childhood education with infants
- Knowledge of infant CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Background in daycare, babysitting, nannying or caregiving roles focused on infants and toddlers
- Classroom experience or preschool experience emphasizing childhood development principles
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for very young children
- Strong understanding of childhood development stages and early childhood education practices
