What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (ortho/pelvic) position at Nurtiva Pelvic Therapy?
Physical Therapist — Pelvic Health & Orthopedics | Nurtiva Pelvic Therapy
Dubuque, IA 52003
Nurtiva is a cash-based clinic offering true 60-minute, one-on-one care — no insurance hassle, no productivity quotas, just the time and space to actually treat your patients well. We're looking for a Physical Therapist to join our growing team, treating a blended caseload of pelvic health and orthopedic patients.
This is a great fit for a new grad who wants real mentorship and a supportive team to grow with, or an experienced PT looking for a practice model that lets you actually spend time with your patients.
What you'll do
- Provide one-on-one, 60-minute PT sessions across a blended pelvic health and orthopedic caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop and progress individualized plans of care, and provide hands-on manual therapy and exercise-based treatment
- Treat a range of pelvic health conditions in both female and male patients — training and mentorship provided if pelvic health (especially male pelvic health) is new to you
- Collaborate closely with our small clinical team on complex cases
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in EMR
Why this clinic
- True 60-minute sessions — real time to treat, not rush
- Zero insurance hassle — your clinical judgment drives the plan of care
- Small, collaborative team with hands-on mentorship — you won't be figuring things out alone
- Base salary of $82,000-$98,000 (depending on experience) performance bonuses tied to caseload growth and retention
- A genuine growth opportunity: pelvic health is a specialized, in-demand skill set, and we'll invest in training you
You might be a fit if...
- You're a licensed PT (or new grad) looking for a practice where you can build real relationships with patients, not just move through a schedule
- You're curious about pelvic health, including male pelvic health — no prior experience required, just openness to learning
- You want mentorship and a team that invests in your clinical growth
- You're comfortable with both orthopedic and pelvic health caseloads, or excited to develop skill in both
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Iowa PT license (or eligibility) — required
- New grads welcome and encouraged to apply
- No pelvic health experience required — we provide training and mentorship
Schedule: Full-time preferred, 4-5 days/week. Hours can flex for the right candidate.
Salary : $82,000 - $98,000
