Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, finishing, and formwork construction.
- Support the installation of rebar, metal studs, flooring, stucco, plastering, and caulking as directed by supervisors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work specifications.
- Conduct concrete-related tasks including pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and surface preparation in accordance with safety protocols.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting, concrete mixing, rebar installation, formwork construction, and renovation projects to meet project deadlines.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Experience working on diverse construction projects such as hardscape installations or renovations.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping operations.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely in accordance with safety regulations.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks including carpentry and metal stud framing.
- Understanding of construction site safety protocols and ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines at all times.
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks consistently throughout shifts.

Pay: $24.26 - $29.21 per hour
