We currently have a need in S Sarasota/Venice areas. We are looking for 4-6hr shifts(day); and potential overnight shifts!
Summary
As a Caregiver at Nursing Styles, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This position is essential for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation are beneficial.
