Pediatric Outreach and Referral Coordinator

Nursing South Corporation, is a recognized leader in home-based health care services, is seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused marketing professional to join our team as a Pediatric Outreach & Referral Coordinator. The role of Pediatric Outreach is a strategically vital community-facing position developing, building, and nurturing strong connections with, physicians, family members and referral sources to drive patient referrals and expand awareness of our high-quality home health care services. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of providing high-quality health care services to our patients.

Preferred Requirements:

• Marketing experience in healthcare, especially home health or pediatric services.
• Familiarity with pediatric case management or community liaison work.
• Comfortable representing healthcare services to a variety of professionals and family members.
  
  
  

Minimal Requirements:

• High-energy, outgoing, and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Active driver’s license, dependable car, clean driving record, and personal insurance.
• Strong listening, communication, and time-management skills.
• Professionalism and respect in all interactions, both public and private.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Self-motivated with proven ability to meet business development goals while maintaining a polished, professional presence.
• Uphold high-quality customer service standards.
• Knowledge and experience with computer applications, including electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and all state, federal, and agency policies.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and community partners.
• Conduct daily in-person visits to generate a steady stream of referrals.
• Provide weekly forecasting and visit summary reports.
  
  
  

Provide Ongoing Analysis:

• Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities to help create marketing strategies for building relationships and developing new markets.
• Foster patient-company relationships building brand awareness and loyalty.
  
  
  

Marketing Plan:

• Collaborate with leadership to develop impactful presentations and materials that highlight our services.
• Create and implement a marketing plan, as well as setting priorities within a prescribed budget.
• Review and evaluate the plan regularly to ensure its effectiveness.
