Location: Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mansion – Sunbury, PA
Position Type: Full-Time | Days

Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mansion is seeking an experienced HR Clerk / Payroll professional to join our skilled nursing facility administrative team. This full-time, daytime position requires a candidate with prior experience in both payroll processing and human resources functions.

Position Summary

The HR Clerk / Payroll professional is responsible for accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and supporting daily HR operations. This individual plays a key role in ensuring compliance with employment regulations while promoting a professional and supportive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, validate, and submit accurate and timely payroll.

  • Maintain an effective and compliant payroll system.

  • Prepare payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Maintain HRIS records including payroll, benefits, and employee data.

  • Enter and update employee information related to pay, benefits, and status changes.

  • Screen applicants and assist with processing new hires.

  • Verify employment data and conduct background checks.

  • Support onboarding and new employee orientation.

  • Maintain benefit records including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, ITO, and FMLA.

  • Assist management with employee relations matters as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and wage regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources and payroll experience required.

  • Demonstrated payroll processing experience required.

  • Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
