Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mansion is seeking an experienced HR Clerk / Payroll professional to join our skilled nursing facility administrative team. This full-time, daytime position requires a candidate with prior experience in both payroll processing and human resources functions.

Position Summary
The HR Clerk / Payroll professional is responsible for accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and supporting daily HR operations. This individual plays a key role in ensuring compliance with employment regulations while promoting a professional and supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Process, validate, and submit accurate and timely payroll.
Maintain an effective and compliant payroll system.
Prepare payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain HRIS records including payroll, benefits, and employee data.
Enter and update employee information related to pay, benefits, and status changes.
Screen applicants and assist with processing new hires.
Verify employment data and conduct background checks.
Support onboarding and new employee orientation.
Maintain benefit records including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, ITO, and FMLA.
Assist management with employee relations matters as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and wage regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources and payroll experience required.
Demonstrated payroll processing experience required.
Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
