REQUIREMENTS:
Under the direction supervision of the DON, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, organizes, conducts, and reports on Agency quality assurance activities. Assures that client records are complete and maintained/stored in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Prepares and maintains complete and accurate patient charts:
Assists with formulation of clinical reviews, compiles data and completes required reports.
*Audits clinical records to monitor compliance with state and federal regulations.
Perform chart audit on aspects of care.
May perform skill visits as necessary.
Will rotate on-call duties as assigned; and carries out other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Texas LVN License preferred.
- Home Health care experience of one year with Medicare home visits preferred.
- Expressed interest in details of documentation and quality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with all ages, especially the geriatric population.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Able to assess data reflecting of the client's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each client's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
-Able to interpret and apply Medicare, Federal, and state regulations to daily function of office and patient care.
