PSYCHIATRIST – TRIPLER ARMY MEDICAL CENTER | HONOLULU, HAWAII
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join the team at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI
- Specialty: Psychiatry
- Status: Full-time
- Start Date: October 1, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- No on-call requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat patients within granted clinical privileges
- Conduct TMS mapping and remapping visits
- Perform initial patient assessments in person or via telehealth
- Confirm diagnoses and document medical necessity
- Oversee TMS technicians and co-sign treatment notes
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed
- Provide discharge summaries and coordinate care with referring clinicians
- Educate and collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Current, full, active, unrestricted medical license
- Board certification recognized by ABMS or AOA
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current DEA registration
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must meet DoD/Military Treatment Facility credentialing and privileging requirements
