Licensed Vocational/Practical School Nurse (LPN)

We're seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide 1:1 care for special need students at Ewa Beach area school. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy working with children and want a consistent weekday schedule with holidays and school breaks off.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing support for a student with specialized healthcare needs
• Monitor and manage diabetic care throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care provided and communicate with school staff and caregivers
• Respond appropriately to health concerns and emergencies

Requirements

• Active Hawaii LPN/LVN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with diabetic care preferred
• Strong communication and assessment skills
