What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time CNA Home Care position at NurseCore?
NurseCore is seeking a CNA to provide in-home care for a client, 4 hours/day, 4 days/week, Friday–Monday, with a choice of either 7:00 AM–11:00 AM or 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Responsibilities may vary based on the client’s needs:
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing/undressing, and oral hygiene
- Assisting with transfers and positioning to wheelchair, bed, and vehicle, including use of assistive equipment
- Assisting with basic range of motion exercises, both passive and active
- Light housekeeping and tidying
- Meal preparation
- Occasional errands
- Other duties as assigned
Must have the following qualifications to be considered:
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- At least one year of CNA or HHA experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Current, hands-on CPR certification in compliance with AHA
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Successful background check
- Hourly rate varies by patient - $20 to $22
