Responsibilities

• Caregiver / Home Care Aide – In‑Home Support Needed
  
  

NurseCore is seeking dependable, patient caregivers to support a client who benefits from structure, consistency, and calm redirection. This position is best suited for someone who is confident, physically capable, safety-focused, and experienced in maintaining a calm environment when supporting individuals who may experience behavioral challenges.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide steady, reassuring in‑home support to maintain a safe environment
• Assist with routine daily care, hydration reminders, and scheduled personal‑care tasks
• Offer guidance, calm communication, and supportive redirection when needed
• Support mobility and help ensure safety during daily activities
• Monitor general wellbeing and follow established care routines
• Maintain professional boundaries and structure throughout the shift
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Caregivers who are patient, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Experience with behavioral support or willingness to learn
• Ability to follow structured routines and maintain a safe, predictable environment
• Reliability, clear communication, and strong problem‑solving skills
  
  

Requirements

• CNA/PCA or supervised caregiving experience for a minimum of one year
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Negative PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last year
• Physical Exam within the last year
• Must be registered as a caregiver with the state of California (Home Care Registry)
