Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a 12-year-old student with cerebral palsy within a school setting. The nurse will be responsible for supporting the student’s medical needs throughout the school day, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort, and collaborating with school staff and the family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to the student throughout the school day

• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed

• Perform incontinence care (bowel and bladder)

• Monitor and manage any health concerns or symptoms as they arise

• Offer behavioral redirection and support during challenging moments

• Communicate with parents, school staff, and medical providers as appropriate

• Ensure the student is safely and comfortably integrated into the school environment

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• 
  Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a LPN or RN in a supervised setting within the last three (3) years
