About the Role
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join a high-performing medical center in Apple Valley, CA. This full-time night shift role involves caring for premature and critically ill newborns requiring specialized NICU-level attention.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-acuity nursing care to premature and critically ill infants.
- Monitor vital signs, ventilators, and specialized neonatal equipment.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and neonatal treatments.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Provide education, emotional support, and communication to families.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and care plans.
- Maintain NICU-specific safety, infection control, and evidence-based standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active California RN License (required upon hire).
- BLS (AHA) certification (required upon hire).
- NRP (AAP) certification (required upon hire).
- Minimum 1 year RN experience.
- Ideal: 2 years NICU experience in an acute care hospital.
