Registered Nurse (RN) – OR / Med-Surg | Per Diem
Location: Utica, NY
Schedule: Per Diem (Flexible Shifts)
Pay Rate: $40 – $45 per hour (negotiable)
NurseAmerica is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with OR or Med-Surg experience to support clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient pain management setting.
This role focuses on assisting with procedures, patient care, and coordination in a controlled, clinic-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Assist physicians during outpatient procedures
- Monitor patients and document clinical information accurately
- Administer medications as required
- Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols
- Active RN license in NY (or compact license if applicable)
- Experience in OR, Med-Surg, or procedural settings
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Experience with IVs or outpatient procedures preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Outpatient, clinic-based setting
- Predictable, scheduled procedures
- No inpatient care, overnight shifts, ER, or trauma
