Position Overview:
NurseAmerica is currently looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate Emergency Room RN based in Mill Creek, WA, joining our team in Everett, WA for a full-time night shift role. In this position, you will deliver high-acuity, rapid-response nursing care to patients facing critical and emergency situations within a high-volume ER setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage, evaluate patient conditions, and quickly stabilize individuals based on severity
- Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based emergency nursing interventions
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support best possible outcomes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform emergent procedures as required
- Continuously monitor patient vitals and maintain precise, real-time documentation
- Adhere to strict infection control, regulatory guidelines, and safety practices
- Offer education, emotional support, and crisis assistance to patients and families
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted Washington RN license or Compact RN License
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
- At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Strong assessment abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to multitask
- Comfortable functioning independently in a high-stress, fast-moving ER environment
