Shift Details
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay Package
Estimated Weekly Gross: $3,000
Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,246
Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,754
Position Overview
NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for multiple travel assignments in Utica, NY. These roles offer flexibility with multiple shift options and start dates, serving a high-acuity emergency department that treats patients across all age groups.
Unit & Patient Overview
- Unit: Emergency Department (64 beds including trauma, triage, acute, CDU, super track, and psych)
- Patient Population: Newborns, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure
- Floating: Required as needed
- Charge Capability: Highly preferred
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Active New York State RN License
- Travel nursing experience required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC required (must be in hand for select shifts)
- Experience with Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
- EMR: Epic experience required
Referral Bonus
Refer a qualified candidate and earn a $500 referral bonus once the assignment is successfully completed.
