Aesthetic Medical Professional / Laser & Treatment Specialist

Nurse V Beauty is looking for an experienced, dependable, and outgoing Aesthetic Medical Professional / Laser Technician to join our growing med spa team.

We are open to candidates from several medical and aesthetic backgrounds, including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, experienced Laser/Aesthetic Technicians, and previously trained Aesthetic Injectors.

This is a hands-on, multifaceted position for someone who enjoys the aesthetic industry and wants to be involved in more than one area of the practice. The position combines aesthetic treatments, client care, front-office responsibilities, blood draws, inventory and retail management, content capture, and daily med spa operations.

The ideal candidate is professional, personable, highly organized, confident with clients, comfortable with technology, and able to take initiative.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified applicants may include:

• Medical Assistants (MA)
• Registered Nurses (RN)
• Experienced Laser/Aesthetic Technicians
• Previously trained Aesthetic Injectors
• Candidates with experience in med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic medicine, or another related medical/aesthetic setting

Blood draw/phlebotomy experience is REQUIRED. Candidates must be proficient and comfortable performing blood draws.

Hands-on experience with aesthetic lasers and energy-based devices is strongly preferred.

Previous aesthetic injection training and experience is a plus but is not required.

Candidates must hold any current license, certification, or credential required for the services they will perform.

Additional training will be provided on our specific equipment, treatment protocols, and procedures as appropriate. All services must be performed within the employee's qualifications, training, licensure, and permitted scope.

AESTHETIC TREATMENTS & EQUIPMENT

Depending on qualifications and permitted scope, this position will be trained and/or responsible for applicable services and equipment, including:

• Alma Veil
• Alma Opus
• T-Shape
• Spray tanning
• Teeth whitening
• Blood draws
• Additional aesthetic treatments and technologies as our practice grows

Responsibilities include preparing clients, treatment rooms, and equipment; performing approved treatments; assisting providers when needed; reviewing appropriate pre- and post-treatment instructions; documenting treatments; and following established safety and sanitation protocols.

For qualified and appropriately licensed candidates with previous aesthetic injection training, injectable services may also become part of the position based on experience, competency, and the needs of the practice.

FRONT DESK & CLIENT CARE

This is a hands-on position where everyone helps provide an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and checking clients in and out
• Answering incoming phone calls and client inquiries
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Collecting payments and invoicing clients
• Maintaining client forms, records, and required consents
• Following up with clients when appropriate
• Assisting with rebooking future appointments
• Providing professional and friendly customer service throughout the client's experience

INVENTORY & RETAIL

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and ordering treatment, office, and retail inventory
• Receiving and organizing shipments
• Keeping treatment rooms and supplies stocked
• Stocking and organizing retail products and displays
• Learning our skincare and retail product lines
• Educating clients about available products and services
• Assisting clients with appropriate retail purchases and recommendations

BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOGRAPHY CONTENT CAPTURE

Capturing high-quality client results and treatment footage is an important part of this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking clear and consistent before-and-after photographs
• Capturing raw photos and video during treatments with clients who have provided appropriate consent
• Capturing educational and promotional footage as directed
• Organizing photos and videos and providing the raw content to our media team
• Following all client consent and privacy requirements when capturing content

This position does NOT include managing, editing, posting, or running our social media accounts. All raw content is provided to our media team for editing and use.

DAILY SPA OPERATIONS

Responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the spa
• Preparing the spa for the business day
• Cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, and resetting treatment rooms
• Keeping treatment rooms, common areas, and client areas clean and organized
• Completing opening and closing duties
• Monitoring equipment and promptly communicating any concerns or maintenance needs
• Helping maintain an organized and efficient daily schedule
• Assisting wherever needed to keep the spa running smoothly
