The Community Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and strengthening Nurse Next Door’s presence within the community. This role is responsible for cultivating new referral relationships, increasing brand awareness, and converting opportunities into new clients.
With a strong focus on marketing, community outreach, and results-driven relationship building, the Community Engagement Specialist fuels the long-term success of the location and directly contributes to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:Business & Revenue Growth- Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Implement and maintain monthly sales and marketing plans aligned with business goals.
- Build and maintain a strong Top 40 Professional Referral Source list.
- Conduct 25 face-to-face meetings per week with key referral partners (e.g., hospitals, senior centers, care facilities, clinics).
- Build lasting relationships with community leaders, organizations, and professional networks to generate ongoing interest and referrals.
- Leverage word-of-mouth referrals and professional partnerships to support consistent client acquisition.
- Promote the Nurse Next Door brand through Happier Aging stories, community involvement, and professional presence.
- Act as a brand ambassador, educating partners and community organizations about our services and mission.
- Review Client and Caregiver Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a premium, consistent experience.
- Support the creation of a culture that prioritizes Happier Aging and exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience driving results through sales initiatives, marketing activities, or community engagement.
- Self-starter who thrives working independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with community outreach, relationship building, and face-to-face meetings.
- Demonstrates genuine care for others and embodies the values of Bold Kindness.
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Achievement of monthly revenue targets.
- Meeting or exceeding intake / caring consult conversion goals outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
- Delivering an exceptional client and caregiver experience, reflected in NPS scores of 10.
