What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Design + Web Intern position at NUR - Protein For Daily Hydration?
Graphic Design Web Intern — NUR For academic credit | Unpaid | Los Angeles (Hybrid/ Remote) | Part-time or full-time | Start ASAP | 3–4 months
NUR is a female-founded protein brand with a clear visual world — warm, minimal, editorial — and a website that needs to live up to it. We're early-stage, which means you won't be handed a style guide and told to color within the lines. You'll help define and build what NUR looks like at every touchpoint.
We're looking for a designer with sharp taste, comfort in Figma and Canva, and the ability to translate a brand aesthetic into assets that actually convert — on screen and on social.
What you'll own
- Audit and improve the existing NUR website — layout, hierarchy, copy presentation, and visual consistency
- Design static social assets for Instagram: graphics, carousels, educational posts, and story templates
- Build reusable design templates in Canva and Figma that keep the brand consistent across creators and channels
- Support email design — campaign layouts and product launch visuals
- Contribute to the NUR visual system: type hierarchy, color usage, grid rhythm, and photography direction
You bring
- A portfolio with real brand work — social assets, web pages, or visual identity projects
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Canva; bonus for Webflow or Shopify theme editing
- Strong typographic instincts and an eye for whitespace
- Familiarity with designing for both mobile and desktop
- Ability to translate a mood board or reference into production-ready assets
- Enrollment in a program that awards academic credit for internships
You'll gain
- Live portfolio work — designs you create will publish across our site and social channels
- Direct mentorship from founders with CPG, media, and venture backgrounds
- Experience shaping a brand's visual identity from an early stage
- School credit — we complete all required paperwork
- Product samples and access to our creator and wellness network
Ideal majors: Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, UX/UI Design, Advertising, Entrepreneurship, or any related program that awards credit for internships.
To apply, email info@nurprotein.com and include your CV, a link to your portfolio, a brief note on what excites you about this, and confirmation your school awards credit. Rolling applications.
