Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing PCBs for medical products encompassing various hardware components such as SoC, sensor array, and a set of various radios of various frequencies. You will also be responsible for board bring up, and some low-level embedded software/firmware development. The position requires a candidate that is a self-starter, motivated, and a team player with effective communication skills.
Ensure compliance with medical safety standards. Collaborate with development teams. 5 years experience required.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of hardware design
- Digital consumer product circuit board design
- Skilled in schematic, PCB design, and layout
- Experience in board bring up with strong troubleshooting skills
- Skilled in reverse Engineering existing PCB design
- Embedded software/firmware debugging
- SMD soldering skills, and hands on experience with lab tools (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Experience with Altium
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Medical or controlled industry experience is a plus
- Basic RF design experience (good to have)
- FGPA/DSP programming skills (good to have)
Salary : $95,000 - $140,000
