NuPath Behavioral Health is a growing mental health provider based in Fargo, North Dakota. We are expanding services into the Dickinson area to increase access to person-centered, community-based mental health support for individuals who need it most.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to provide skills-based services to individuals in their homes and community settings in the Dickinson area. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, autonomy, and making a direct impact in clients’ daily lives. This position will start part-time, with strong potential to grow into full-time as our presence in the Dickinson community expands.
Duties
- Conduct brief assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized care plans
- Provide one-on-one rehabilitative mental health services in clients’ homes and community settings
- Assist clients in learning and practicing coping skills, independent living skills and community integration
- Provide medication education and support (non-prescribing), if needed
- Coordinate care with therapists, case managers, and other providers
- Complete timely, compliant, and clinically sound documentation
- Participate in individual supervision and clinical consultation
- Offer crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate safety and appropriate follow-up actions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice or other related field preferred
- Experience working in mental health, social services, or human services preferred
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings and manage a flexible schedule
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
