Job Summary
The Material Handler Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Material Handlers in one location to ensure efficient handling, storing, and distributing food products within the Warehouse. This role involves utilizing an ERP system, compiling reports, problem solving, and performing scanning tasks to ensure accurate inventory management.
This role is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with occasional Saturdays during peak season.
Duties
- Supervise Material Handlers across first and second shift.
- Ensure that all raw products are scanned properly, and the codes, dates and lot numbers are double-checked.
- Use ERP software to track inventory levels, process orders, and manage stock movements.
- Perform scanning tasks to ensure accurate tracking of products during receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure accuracy within ERP.
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies or any damages.
- Assist in unloading products from delivery trucks and organize within warehouse as needed.
- Ensure all raw products are properly stored and scanned in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned daily, and trash removed. This includes all equipment required to carry out the receiving and shipping duties.
- Work closely with the other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that the Nuovo GMP and HACCP plans are followed daily. Report to the Plant Director any problems that compromise product Safety.
Qualifications:
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Proficiency in using scanning devices and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
