This role involves managing patient intake processes, coordinating equipment orders, and providing exceptional administrative support to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and healthcare providers professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Collect and verify patient information accurately during intake, including insurance details and medical history.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate timely processing of orders for home medical equipment.
- Maintain organized records of patient interactions, equipment orders, and billing documentation.
- Provide clear communication to patients regarding equipment usage, delivery schedules, and follow-up procedures.
- Support the administrative team with appointment scheduling, data entry, and insurance verification tasks.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and company policies in all interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical administrative procedures.
- Previous experience supporting office operations within dental or other healthcare offices is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to interact empathetically with patients, providers, and team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
