Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center (NDTC), established in 1995, is committed to delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. Licensed as an outpatient psychiatric clinic and accredited by JCAHO since the early 2000s, NDTC provides a range of mental health services, including Outpatient Psychiatry with medication management, Telepsychiatry, Blended Case Management, Family-Based Mental Health, Partial Hospitalization, and Therapy. The organization is dedicated to supporting the mental well-being of its clients through compassionate and professional care.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mental Health Worker, based in Altoona, PA. The Mental Health Worker will be responsible for providing various mental health support services, including assisting clients with case management, conducting therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. Additional duties may include supporting clients in achieving personalized goals, coordinating care, and reporting on their progress.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to build trust and compassionately engage with clients
- Expertise in Social Work and Psychology, with knowledge of behavioral health practices
- Experience with Mental Health care and Case Management processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to client-centered care with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
- Previous experience in a mental health setting is highly beneficial
