Job Summary
We are looking for a Loveable Development Specialist with 2-5 years of application development experience to help design, develop, and maintain our React-based application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React, PostgreSQL, advanced CSS, and SQL, and familiarity with Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Supabase. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience is required. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality, responsive, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using our web stack, including React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui.
- Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL, writing and understanding SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.
- Implement advanced CSS techniques for responsive and dark mode-compatible designs.
- Integrate and manage data with Supabase, including authentication, storage, and large sets of sports data.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Debug, test, and deploy applications, ensuring high performance and security.
- Contribute to the evolution of the platform by suggesting improvements and new features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years in application development, with a focus on web technologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (e.g., bootcamps, significant self-taught projects with a portfolio).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and advanced SQL.
- Expertise in advanced CSS (e.g., Tailwind CSS, custom layouts, responsive design).
- Familiarity with the Loveable.dev stack: Vite, shadcn/ui, Supabase (including Edge Functions).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Deno, serverless architectures, or e-signature integrations
- Industry Knowledge: Candidates with a solid knowledge and understanding of the popular sports in the US will be prioritized (pro/college football, pro/college basketball, pro baseball, pro hockey).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
