Job Overview:
The counter sales position is an important part of the shopping experience for our customers. You will be the main face that customers will get to know and rely on to help with questions and getting the products they need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Checking out customers for the products they need while offering advice and suggestions
- Work with customers to order special order products
- Relaying important customer feedback and critiques of the operation to the proper channels
- Help to promote information about upcoming training classes, new products, ect
- Build relationships with our customers and associates
- Assist with keeping the sales floor stocked during down time
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Fluent in Spanish and English a plus
- Willing to work 40 hours
- Must pass a full background and drug test
- Strong customer service background
- Strong organizational skills & attention to details
- Adhere to the policies and procedures
- Possess self-motivational skills
- Team player mentality
- Must be able to act in a safe and efficient manner
- Willing to stand for the entire work day
- Willing to perform frequent & accurate physical inventory counts
- Physical skills to lift and carry inventory and climb ladders daily
- Pool service and construction experience a plus (not necessary for employment)
- Technical knowledge or experience a plus (not necessary for employment)
