About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Experience with performance management and employee development.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily activities of team members to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
  • Provide clear instructions, training, and support to staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, gather feedback, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with management to align team objectives with broader organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards within the work area
  • Assigns tasks to housekeeping/floor technician employees and monitors progress.
  • Spot checks employees’ work to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards; performs daily performance inspections of assigned areas.
  • Identifies new supplies and materials required for housekeeping duties and coordinates the requisitions with the Project Manager.
  • Resolves issues or complaints among or regarding to housekeeping/floor technician staff members.
  • Monitors employee workloads and notifies management of anticipated increase in workloads.
  • Ensures staff members utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate and perform in compliance with established safety procedures.
  • Ensures staff members are attired in appropriate uniform and badge in compliance with Company policies.

Working Environment:

• Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility.

• Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and other use of hands; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; moving of furniture required.

• Operation of motorized equipment, such as floor stripping, buffing and deep cleaning machines.

• Occasional exposure to chemicals such as cleaning solutions

Salary : $47,000 - $52,000
