About the Role:

The QC Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that services meet specified quality standards, regulatory requirements and government specifications at Fort Cavazos, TX. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems that identify and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively. The QC Manager leads a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and training to uphold rigorous quality assurance practices. Ultimately, the QC Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality performance and support the company’s commitment to excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies, including statistical process control and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or related field.
  • Experience in the environmental services industry.
  • Familiarity with advanced quality software systems and data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field or additional training in quality management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and manage the quality control team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze quality data and generate detailed reports to inform management decisions and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage supplier quality assurance activities, including supplier audits and evaluation of incoming materials.
  • Ensure documentation and record-keeping comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, quality methodologies, and regulatory changes to maintain best practices.
