This position is hybrid. Our team is in our Downtown San Diego office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities:
- Lead paid media strategy across clients, recommending the right channel mix (TV, radio, OOH, print, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, programmatic, paid search, OTT, CTV, and emerging and multilingual[MR1] [PA2] platforms).
- Develop and present media plans, forecasts and performance strategies to clients, agency partners and agency leadership.
- Collaborate with external agency partners to guide strategy, fine-tune recommendations, traffic creative needs and prepare results for client presentations.
- Oversee project management, execution and reporting of paid campaigns across platforms, ensuring alignment with client objectives and integration with broader marketing efforts.[PA3] [MR4]
- Define, measure and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs, delivering actionable insights and reporting on campaign performance to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates and best practices, applying insights to strengthen client strategies.
- Manage and optimize paid media budgets and pacing to drive efficient spend and maximize campaign performance.
- Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on paid media decisions.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to strengthen overall media expertise within the agency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 8–10 years of experience in paid media strategy, planning and execution (agency experience strongly preferred).
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and programmatic ad platforms; bonus if you’ve also worked with streaming/Connected TV advertising.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and client-ready recommendations.
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
- Skilled at managing campaign budgets and forecasting results, with the ability to track and report on key performance measures such as return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and brand awareness.
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution when needed.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and other campaign management platforms.
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
