MS Science Teacher (Spanish)

Nuestro Mundo Community School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Science Teacher (Spanish) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to engaging students in hands-on scientific inquiry while supporting the development of Spanish language proficiency in an immersive learning environment. Responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging science lessons in Spanish aligned with state standards Creating a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student success Maintaining strong communication with families and the school community Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred) Fluency in Spanish required Teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred Experience working with middle school students strongly preferred Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices
