Shop Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in equipment assembly, repair, and alignment. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Duties

• Assemble and disassemble various types of equipment as per specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including electrical components.
• Align and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose issues with equipment and perform necessary repairs, including automotive and diesel engine repairs.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely while moving materials or equipment within the shop.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding equipment functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and assembly.
• Familiarity with electrical systems related to machinery is preferred.
• Experience in automotive or diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification may be required.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and maintenance practices in the shop environment.
