NPE- Nueces Power Equipment is currently looking for candidates to start immediately at their Houston, TX location.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform routine heavy equipment maintenance, including servicing transmissions, air brakes, and hydraulics.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring alignment and suspension systems are functioning properly.
- Utilize hand tools and welding techniques for fabrication and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostics
- Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment maintenance
- Experience with transmissions, air brakes and hydraulics
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including excavators and backhoes
- Familiarity with fabrication and OEM schematics
- Relevant service technician experience and customer service skills
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and welding tasks
