Hourly/Non-Exempt: $15.62
Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weekly
General Description
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, is responsible for performing moderately complex medical aide work. Assist nurses in obtaining reports and records from medical records. Performs nursing functions as appropriate. Assists medical staff in performing procedures. Performs related work as assigned and trained.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in health care work. Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred. (GED) Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Attended a school and completed Medical Assistant Tech school and met all required hours of on-the-job training. *Valid Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In the course of being employed, understands and implements trauma informed care practices.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of patient care. Skill in the use of equipment used in patient care. Ability to plan, evaluate, and provide patient care.
