Grocery Manager

Nude Foods Market is an innovative, industry changing startup that’s destined for big things. We are hiring an assistant manager and are looking for candidates with retail experience (especially natural grocery) who are ready for an opportunity like they’ve never had before.

This role includes:

MANAGING AND GROWING A TEAM Take the lead in building a high-performing, engaged team through structured training, clear expectations, and consistent coaching. You’ll design and deliver onboarding, facilitate cross-training across roles, and foster a team culture grounded in accountability and support. Focus on skill development, career growth, and performance management through regular check-ins, clear feedback, and performance tools to track progress and set goals. This role isn’t just about managing day-to-day operations. It’s about growing leaders, recognizing strengths, and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work.

SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES

In true startup fashion, you’ll help build and refine the systems that keep our store running efficiently. You’ll be hands-on in creating lean, effective, and ready-to-scale processes, from inventory workflows to team communication. This is a rare opportunity to shape operations from the ground up. There’s plenty of white space, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, thinks like a builder, and takes full ownership of results.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

STORE APPEARANCE

Maintain strong visual merchandising standards that support category growth

Participate in restocking, signage updates, and in-store redesigns as needed

Ensure accurate pricing, clear product tags, and appealing displays

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2 years of experience in a leadership role in retail, hospitality, or natural grocery

Proven ability to manage people and drive team success

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High standards for personal presentation and the impression it leaves

Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and be on your feet during shifts

Bonus points for a background in sustainability, food systems, or startup environments
