Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solderer and Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic assembly and a strong understanding of soldering techniques. This role involves working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) and requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Solderer, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of electronic components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to assemble electronic components accurately.
- Perform soldering tasks on PCBs using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques (down to 0201), with or without a microscope.
- Fabricate and assemble electrical wiring according to specifications.
- Conduct testing using an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality of assembled products.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand assembly requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hand soldering, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and surface mount technology (SMT).
- Familiarity with PCB fabrication processes and electrical wiring techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Basic machining skills are a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
