Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Hardware Coordinatort at our business unit located in Decatur, AL.

Specific job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Build kits on pallets per work order for each structure ensuring quantity of parts is correct to the BOM.
• Build crates of ship loose hardware per work order by job.
• Label crates and pallets per job number.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Scanning of hardware bar codes for inventory movement.
• Using D365 to search inventory and build kits.
• Can do attitude.
• Monthly cycle counting and inventory management.
• Receive and count to verify accuracy of inbound material.
  
  

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read tape measure
• Lift packages, buckets & pallets up to 50/lbs
• Common knowledge of nuts, bolts and washers
• Ability to count
• Able to stand continuously
• Drive standup forklift and standard sit down forklift
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
