- Lead safety performance, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local OSHA, occupational health, and environmental regulations
- Conduct safety training and culture-building activities with branch teammates
- Collaborate with peer EHS teammates across NRF to ensure consistency across divisions and share best practices
- Prepare content and ensure regular Toolbox and Safety Meetings are conducted
- Assist with audit of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to help identify and correct potential hazards to meet regulations
- Audit and organize all safety logs, sign-off sheets, and other required and regulatory documents
- Assist branch in performing annual safety reviews, PPE assessments, equipment certifications, etc.
- Manage Intelex to ensure all health and safety matters are documented and completed promptly
- Ensure proper PPE is available, organized, and tracked
- Serve as the IT contact for requests, new equipment, etc.
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Willingness to work in extreme situations such as hot, cold, and rainy weather, dusty and muddy conditions in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Fundamental Computer Skills
- Self-starter, positive problem solver always looking for work that needs done and ways to improve
- Energetic with initiative and enthusiasm that is motivating to others
- Safety background, emergency response, and/or related training
- Efficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Mobile equipment (forklift/overhead crane) or equivalent experience
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour training
