Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Generalist. We are looking for an efficient and reliable HR Generalist to undertake a variety of HR activities including but not limited to the following: Recruiting, hiring, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, employment laws and regulations including Affirmative Action and other.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher or one year of HR related experience with supervisor approval.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment
- SHRM or other professional certification
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to speak and understand Spanish
