Basic Job Functions:
The basic functions of the Melt Shop Clerk are as follows: 1) Calculate production bonus and manage time entry 2) Compile and distribute various performance reports such as: daily downgrades, operator non-prime, firewall performance, NP Inventory, etc. 3) Provide administrative support for team such as: purchase requisitions, expense reports, vacation forms, time entry, CDR’s, EAM’s, etc. 4) Record Retention and Portal page upkeep. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
