Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel – Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Reversing Mill Crane/Bander for the Specialty Cold Mill Complex.
The role of the reversing mill crane/bander includes but not limited to: operation of the overhead crane, properly locating coils in inventory, loading coils on the reversing mill and unloading coils off the pickle line. They will also Band coils and inspect coils off the mill. Must be able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends and holidays.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of cold mill experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience running overhead crane
- General knowledge of cold rolling processing and product flow
