Basic Job Functions:
The Ladle Wall Utility is responsible for safe and efficient performance at the ladle wall at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of all ladle refractory
- Management of stock associated with ladles, LMF, and EAF
- Coordination with LMF team, Ladle Cranes, EAF team, and Caster team on in-service ladles
- Ensuring ladles are in good, safe working order for use in shop
- Housekeeping of ladle wall area
- Review and mastery all refractory procedures
- Maintenance responsibilities of the refractory area
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in a Melt Shop/Steel Producing Facility
- Melt Shop Experience
- Proven track record as a team player
- Mobile equipment experience
