Basic Job Functions:
This position is responsible for numerous production related duties and will work closely with the Production Supervisor(s) and Leads to ensure an organized and efficient flow of materials through the plant while meeting established daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Input external customer orders and prepare associated production paperwork.
- Directs phone calls/emails and answers customer questions regarding scheduling/availability in a timely manner.
- Maintains records and files.
- Staying current on production schedule.
- Daily coordination with HQ regarding scheduling, billing and monthly financial reporting.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- D365 experience is a plus.
- Proven commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Maintain professionalism, open communication, and display behaviors that help develop the team.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Communication - Effectively expresses ideas or tasks to an individual or group. Demonstrates effective listening skills through receiving feedback, following instructions and showing a genuine interest in others.
- Teamwork - Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal. Ability to distinguish and align personal needs with the needs of the team and Nucor as a whole.
- Problem Solving & Judgment/Decision Making: Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options in order to choose the most appropriate solution.
- Computers and Electronics: Proficiency in utilizing computer resources to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
