Basic Job Functions:
Nucor is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accountant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (1) Assisting with the month end close procedures (2) Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (3) Preparing, reviewing and submitting financial reporting to divisions and Corporate (4) Overseeing fixed assets, tracking of CEA process, and placing assets in services (5) Maintaining and continuously improving the internal control structure. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Accounting or other financially related field
- Microsoft Office experience
- Manufacturing Accounting experience
- Oracle EBS experience
- Sales & Use tax knowledge
