Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Support Team as a Support Analyst, assisting our Commercial and Shipping teammates.
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Work directly with division team members to provide day-to-day business support of all related manufacturing tools including Oracle EBS, OTM and other related systems
- Troubleshoot and provide guidance and solutions for day-to-day problems faced by business users during the Sales and Shipping processes.
- Provide solutions to existing and new business requirements to enhance the solution and user experience.
This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Nucor Business Technology team based in Dallas, TX. Teammate preferred location is Dallas but may be based in Charlotte or any Nucor division with the agreement of that division. Project related overnight travel as needed, up to 25%.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years experience with supporting Oracle EBS, OTM, Carrier Point or other Enterprise business systems.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision based on urgency and impact.
- Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient business process experience in areas such as Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, and Returns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Oracle EBS, OTM, Carrier Point, PSI or other MES Systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving user computer problems in a team environment
- 3 years experience working with metals manufacturing
- Experience with Oracle EBS SQL or other analytical tools to run queries to determine root cause of problems and help drive resolution of recurring issues
