The Payroll and Data Assistant is responsible for supporting the day to day accounting, payroll and financial functions of the Company. This is a non-exempt position. The Payroll and Data Assistant reports to the Finance Supervisor. This position supports and creates positive environments through a personal commitment to the Company’s vision and values.
Compensation: $20-$24 an hour

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to cooperate with others, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:
- Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records
- Review and audit timecard records for accuracy and completeness
- Accurately compute overtime and verify compliance with state laws and regulations
- Maintain electronic files for the Finance department
- Calculate and input billing totals into spreadsheet, identifying discrepancies
- Act as a support for the Finance department and perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and make reasonable decisions based on company policies and practices.
- Assists with weekly payroll runs and coordinates with HR Department and outside payroll provider as necessary.
- Assists with various finance activities as directed.
- May be required to run various periodic reports as requested.
- Assists in development of company’s accounting policies and processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Administrative experience, including Human Resources or payroll preferred, but not required.
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent education required.
Salary : $20 - $24
