Job Responsibilities
* Receive and store raw materials and keep accurate records of all materials shipped or received.
* Operate chemical processing equipment, mixers, blenders, etc. safely following established procedures.
* Sample all finished products, perform specific quality tests and record results on each batch sheet.
* Perform troubleshooting on production and support equipment as required.
* Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
* Conduct inspection of in process materials and finished products.
* Advise management of any and all chemical spills.
* Perform recordkeeping duties.
* Maintain chemical inventory.
* Maintain and keep clean and orderly all manufacturing areas.
Requirements
* Must have a high school diploma or an acceptable GED.
* Must be competent in English and have good verbal and writing skills.
* Must understand basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
* Must be capable of safely lifting up to 65 pounds.
* Must be capable of safely operating a forklift.
* Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
* Must be able to pass a company drug test.
* Must have good mechanical skills and be hands on and able to multi-task.
* Must be capable of performing physical activities, i.e. lifting, bending, climbing.
* Must be capable of working with other persons and/or alone and possess good time-management skills.
* Must have good work ethics. All potential employees are expected to be responsible and demonstrate good attendance.
