Position Summary
The Team Lead plays a key role in supporting the Executive Director and nursing leadership in the coordination of daily care routines. This position combines hands-on caregiving with leadership responsibilities, helping to train, mentor, and guide caregivers and medication technicians while ensuring residents receive exceptional care in compliance with DHS 83/89 regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents as needed.
- Support staff scheduling, shift assignments, and attendance tracking.
- Conduct daily team huddles and ensure care plans are followed consistently.
- Train and mentor new staff, ensuring compliance with company standards and DHS requirements.
- Communicate promptly with leadership regarding resident concerns, changes in condition, or staffing needs.
- Oversee medication delegation, documentation accuracy, and incident reporting when required.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative culture that promotes accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or healthcare setting required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, supportive environment for both residents and staff.
- Must meet all DHS caregiver background and training requirements.

Pay is based on experience and certifications
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
