We’re seeking a House Manager to help lead daily operations, ensure exceptional resident care, and support our mission of providing dignified, high-quality senior living experiences.
Position Summary
The House Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, high-quality care delivery, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the Executive Director and nursing team, the House Manager provides guidance and support to staff, helps maintain a positive and safe environment, and ensures residents receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and assist with staff scheduling, training, and supervision.
- Support resident care coordination in partnership with nursing and care teams.
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DHS 83/89 standards and NuCare policies.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Monitor documentation, incident reports, and resident service plans for accuracy and follow-up.
- Participate in audits, quality assurance reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Support community engagement, marketing tours, and family communications as needed.
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director or RN.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living leadership required.
- Strong understanding of DHS 83/89 regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to leadership.
- CBRF certifications or CNA license preferred but not required.
