Position Summary
The Assistant Director supports the Executive Director in overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management, and resident care delivery across both the RCAC and CBRF programs. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a positive team culture, and upholds the highest standards of resident satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Director in daily operations and decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor caregiving and support staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DHS 83/89 regulations and NuCare policies.
- Participate in audits, care conferences, and quality assurance reviews.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll review, and monitoring of overtime and staffing ratios.
- Oversee resident care documentation, assessments, and service plans in collaboration with the RN.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote occupancy and community engagement.
- Step into leadership duties during the Executive Director’s absence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare management required.
- Strong understanding of DHS 83/89 and state licensing requirements.
- Proven leadership and staff management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach to leadership.
- CBRF certifications or CNA license preferred but not required.
